Chap Hop. The greatest musical genre EVAR!

Honestly, being off work ill has huge benefits at times and this is appropriate for a day when our future King announces his wedding I suppose!

For anyone into rap and Britishness this is an absolute must. Chap Hop is a British Upper Class rap style and this is a diss track written by the best ChapHopRapper Professor Elemental dissing his big rival Mr B. Under the cut is the best of Mr B's rap tracks - especially, if like me, you love cricket.

Its a pretty sick retro beat actually. I love it!

Mr. B's pretty talented, but I like Professor Elemental WAY better! So I'm really diggin' this ChapHop. I guess it's kinda like Crunkin' here in the States, huh? A different style of hip-hop.

Lil' Jon say YAY-UH! LMAO

PS. Feel better, but I'm glad you're findin' some good entertainment in the meantime. Also, you probably know who they are but try lookin' @ videos for The Tossers (from Chicago, IL, USA), Dropkick Murphys (Boston, MA, USA), and the Young Dubliners (not sure where they're from). I listen to it alot. I'm not a big hiip-hop fan, but I watched THOSE vids, so maybe you'll listen to this Street Punk which we simply call "Oi", because when the crowd sings along, at the end of a verse we shout "oi! oi! oi!" Try listening to the Pogues early stuff before they became all poppy. Just an FYI, but for real, I hope ya feel better.

It's madness and that's what I love about it. Stuff that should never make it to a recording studio is so much win. The sheer idea that two Gentleman rappers are releasing diss tracks and having a rivalry? The ubernerd in me fkn loves it :)

And ty for the health wishes, I'm tons better today but that's mainly down to the cough sweets and days spent under John Cena (legit, I have a massive Cena fleece that is the hottest thing ever lol).

I will certainly give those recommendations a try. I'm half Irish so used to the insanity of folks like the Saw Doctors and the Pogues but I've heard them more than I've seen them iyswim. And I had to laugh at the Young Dubliners thing - I love 'The' Dubliners but they're much more sedate :)

And anything that 'oi' gets shouted a lot after has to be awesome - I'll be youtubing for that later to counteract the good manners of the ChapHop ;)
