Well I can safely say that the ratio of 'young white boys' was well the majority that night. I think I got one pic of the back of Mark Henry - who incidentally I think is /horrible/ in the ring - but the rest was all the prettier faces. Apart from Kozlov and Santino who I can love for their killer smiles!
I'm the same as you. I got into wrestling for the wrestling, the fangirl aspect is totally secondary. I was in love with Shawn when he was a Rocker and the first WM I watched was 7 - somehow I got stuck in loving this shit for the long haul :)
Fwiw, I'm not sure Ted is that bad, he's just not that great and looks really uncertain of both his gimmick and his ring work. Another couple of years could see a really good wrestler emerge I think. I can't say I'm a fan of MVP but I appreciate his skills. Kofi is actually kinda cute, he just can't wrestle for shit and hurts too many people for me to give him the time of day. Sheamus? Not for me but again, its each to their own.
And as for Goldust? When I started watching wrestling it was WCW - The Natural Dustin Rhodes was one of my favourites and I thought he was pretty hot back then. I can live without the facepaint and the Goldust gimmick isn't my favourite but everyone has something. He has amazing eyes and the funniest daddy in WWE :)
