Luckily enough I didn't have to wear a cast or a sling. With it being my shoulder that had gone there was nothing they could do other than recommend mucho rest and some light stretches to stop it seizing up altogether. Yours sounds like a nasty injury though!
And I'm glad the concert was good - it would seem kinda wrong for a rock gig to be anything other than hot and sweaty!
I don't think you're being silly at all. If you want to try it, go try it. Just don't let anyone take money off you without a trial session first. I'd reckon that getting in shape a bit first might be an idea - it's got to be easier taking bumps with a strong body to absorb it. Seriously though you have nothing to lose, right?
It's Cole/Lawler and I know, I know, that's super wrong but just give it a read. If you're truly appalled I'll understand if you don't get to the end but I really liked it. See past the foulness of them both and the story just draws the reader in. Awesomely written stuff!
