So, The Big Bang Theory has kinda crept up on me. I'd caught one or two eps but nothing more than that. Besides I'm probably out of their target age group and I try only to DVR stuff from any channels that show Hollyoaks as a rule of thumb. As it pans out I am utterly crazed by it at the moment and watch more eps a day than can be healthy. Granted I've been off work ill for 3 days so I can claim those days as medicinal for the laughter, right?

Anyway, Leonard is my favourite character by a mile, so awkward and borderline desperate. He's played by the adorable Johnny Galecki. In honour of my latest crazy fetish, here's a couple of lovely pics of him and one of my OTP ship from TBBT. Yes, I have one already and surprise, surprise, it's slashy. I am predictably predictable.

Also, I'm an unashamed Shamy shipper too. The most adorable tribute vid is tacked onto the bottom of this. The season 5 finale nearly broke my tiny fangirl brain.

Anyone else feel that Punk's hand was on John's head just a lil too long?

I'm a rap fan. I don't come across like one, don't dress or act like a stereotypical one but my love of the spoken word is often sated by the cleverer rappers.

I don't know if I've mentioned Watsky before but check him out on Youtube - his rap over Pumped Up Kicks has rendered the chart version unlistenable for me!!

BUT....... that's not the track I'm hooked on at the moment. If, like me, you feel lyrics, seek out meaning and love the genuine side of music then check this guy - Dumbfoundead. He's just getting a real rep on Youtube and going viral with this track, Are We There Yet -700k views and counting!!! It tells the story of his mother's journey to enable them to live in the US, his uncertainties about love and the way his life is geared around his music. I absolutely love it. It's not hardcore stuff, has a great flow and just check it out - you might just like it :)

Yeah, I was never his biggest fan but this is just heartbreaking as it's so clear he wasn't ready to go just yet. It's just a good thing that they caught his injuries before they got any worse. Watch to the end to hear his speech. I'm soooooooo blubbing :'S

As many know I am an avid net-freak. I love memes, various kinds of spk and vloggers; all the net's novelties. My favourite vlogger/Youtube Star is Philip DeFranco and I'm surprised that more people I chat too haven't heard of him.

Anyway, he takes a fast paced, light hearted look at current affairs on his main show but he does lots of different shows/channels which are all great. He does news for people who don't watch the news really. His best known/most watched is the Philip DeFranco Show (PDS) which he posts Mon, Weds and Friday.

Today's show focuses on the Japan quake/tsunami and it really touched me. I'm slotting it in here on my LJ because it made me think about a lot of things by the time I'd heard the last few things he had to say. It's only the length of the average pop song. Give it a watch if you can or at least from 2mins in. It's good stuff.
