If you'd asked me before Casino Royale then I'd have said Roger Moore every time because that's the guy I grew up watching. Now I'd say Daniel Craig. He's perfect at portraying a cold eyed, cold blooded man with no family, a broken heart and a taste for the bitterness of revenge. He's not quite a cheesy as some of the other Bonds and maybe, dare I say it, that makes him closer to the way I read what Fleming writes.
