I think it's awesome. I loved his rap gimmick and I can't help but mark out for this totally.

He still has that flow and talent for the battle rapping and I would love to see him go back to that. He's got the skills so why not <3

He's just not destined to be a long term tag team champ - they're probably waiting for him and Randy to be the tag champs one day :)

I couldn't believe the context of a lot of what he was rapping. The 'blow me' and 'polishing my balls' parts just blew me away. I'd already noticed that they weren't bleeping the 'ass' words out so his rap on top of that made me mark so hard.

His battle rapping is something I've always loved and to see him go back to that would be great. I think he every bit held his own against a promo from the Rock which is kudos for him and tough luck for his haters :D

ikr?!! I spent half of it squeeling with surprise at what eh was actually saying. The blow me bit was pure genius. Plsu to be honest he didn't actually SAY anything unPG its just the meaning and double meaning behind the words that were NC17 so no one could "tell him off" for saying it - genius <333

There's part of me that secretly hopes that he was shooting some of it. I know that wouldn't be like John, he's far too much of a company guy, but it would be awesome if he got backstage and they all just looked at him like 'What the hell have you just done?' :D

Let's just hope that letting the top guy go a bit edgier gives them a bit more leeway in what they do with promos etc in the future :) I need moar rap!Cena !!!!!!

I woudn't put it past him to slip in a few "unscripted" moments and yeah I would love to have seen them backstage just going "OMG!" it would have been so funny.

I get the feeling the whole PG muzzel is slipping which is not a bad thing. And letting all of them get a little bit edgier is only for the good. and yeah I want more battle rapping John - becasue lets face when he does it...*drool*

Just the change in the tone of his voice from the cheesy goon to the battle rapper had me shivering :D The one thing I noticed was the little hand motions after he got his chain out - it was right back to his chain gang days *passes out through awesome hotness*

I think I need to fish out my 'down since day one' t-shirt out in time for Mania :)

oh god yes!! the change in his voice is one of the biggest turn ons with him - he goes from goofy to growly in about 2 seconds flat and I'm lost!!! I adore the way his eyes change as well from laughing to scarily hard..all in all its fabulous!!!

OMG! This made me laugh hysterically! I saw it on TV last night and that was so good. I miss Cena's "chain gang" moments. I love it when he rapped w/ Punk a couple weeks back but this one was great. I <3 The Rock. He was so great, and I love when the GM's computer went off & he told Michael Cole to sit down & shut up, but I <3 Cena even more.

And I agree that Rock totally pwning Cole was awesome, it was just a shame they let him do it to Cena when Rock is face by default and Cena is the top guy and top babyface of the company. Made no sense to me!
